SELLING A HOME
Selling a Home/Closings are in our office in Schaumburg or we drive to a title company location nearest to the property you are selling.
For clients who want to “sell by owner” without a real estate agent, we will work with you to talk you through the process and prepare your contracts. We can help you get this listed on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for a flat fee without using the full service of a realtor.
For clients using a realtor, we will work with the realtor to ensure a smooth closing. All correspondence will be copied to you and the agent so that communications occur quickly. Everyone is on the same team working for a successful closing!
We will prepare all documents necessary to provide the buyer with good, clear title.
The seller does not need to be at the closing. All documents will be prepared ahead of time so that the only thing you will need to do is tell us where to send your check after closing with the proceeds. If you wish to be at closing, we will coordinate the closing time with you.
BUYING A HOME
If you are the buyer of a home, as your attorney, G & B will provide the following services, including:
